Elder Kevin L. Hayse was born on the 7^th day of the 7^th month in the 77^th year in the 20^th Century in Chicago, Illinois.  He is a member of One Vision Worship Center in Joliet, IL under the auspice of Pastor Deon Hayes, where he serves as the youth pastor.  He is married to Ann Byrd Hayse and is the father to three sons, LeAndre, Antonio, Keovonte and two daughters Markianna and Diamond.

Elder Hayse grew up in the Robert Taylor housing project on Chicago’s South side, where he attended Crispus Attuck Elementary School and Orr High School.  Elder Hayse was ordained by Bishop O. C. Booker at the Christian Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where he completed his theological training and was licensed by the Church of God in Christ in 2004.

Elder Hayse accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2001 at L.T. Buchanan Church of God in Christ in LaGrange, IL under the leadership of Superintendent Van W. Wells.   Since that time, he has learned to trust in the Lord with all of his heart and lean not to his own understanding. He is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believes that only what he does for Christ will last.

Youth ministry is Elder Hayse’s passionate call. His philosophy in his youth ministry is love God, love people. His favorite scripture is Psalm 1:1-2 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

His walk with Jesus Christ and his family are of the utmost importance to him.
